You Can Make It

Greetings to you our good reader. Today is another new day that will come with its frustrations and promises. You're not alone in your struggles.

The choice to win or lose is up to you. If others are making it, so can you. What is it you're facing? Death? Divorce? Broken relationship? Loneliness? A feeling of worthlessness? Lost your job? Just burnt out on life?

Take a look at your problem. Do you really believe that you're the only one facing this problem, that you're the only person in all this world whose problem is so great it can't be overcome?
Try to think about the future - six months, a year or two or three down the road. You will feel different then. This is not to say there won't be any pain along the way. But the fact still remains, it can be done. You can make it. You have the inner strength to face this struggle and overcome it, if you will make up your mind to go and be a winner.

"Remember, the wrong desires that come into your life aren't anything new and different. Many others have faced exactly the same problems before you. And no temptation is irresistible. You can trust God to keep the temptation from becoming so strong that you can't stand up against it, For He has promised this and will do what He says. He will show you how to escape temptation's power so that you can bear up patiently against it" (1 Corinthians 10:13).

Because of your problems, you're probably facing the greatest temptation of all - to give up.
Don't give up because you can make it.
